28mm Belchite. El Carbonero Olive Oil Factories - Part 3
Ya tenemos prácticamente terminada la fábrica, aunque al
cerrar el
artículo anterior, nos percatamos que faltaban una serie de detalles que
hemos terminado esta semana, mientras hacíamos las casas de la calle principal.
We have practically finished the factory,
although when closing the
previous article, we realized that a series of details were missing that we
have finished this week, while we were doing the houses on the main street.
Empezaremos tintando los suelos de los pisos, aunque no los
tenemos todos aun, pero podemos adelantar trabajo.
Para ello se usa el Lavado Sepia (Game Color Wash 300 de
Vallejo).
We will start tinting the floors of the floors,
although we do not have them all yet, but we can advance work.
For this, the Sepia Wash (Game Color Wash 300
from Vallejo) is used.
No hace falta rebajar el Wash para tintar el contrachapado,
ya que el tono que deja el Sepia, es más que bueno para lo que deseamos obtener.
It is not necessary to lower the Wash to dye
the plywood, since the tone that the Sepia leaves is more than good for what we
wish to have.
No hay que dejar homogéneo el lavado, ya que lo interesante
es que quede más denso en unas zonas que en otras.

interesting thing is that it is denser in some areas than in others.
El efecto con el suelo de la planta colocado en su posición,
el conjunto queda bien.
The effect with the floor of the plant placed

Terminado el suelo de las plantas de la fábrica, se da un poco de weathering a los muros, que en la
última sesión se nos pasó por alto.
Para ello se utiliza el Verde oscuro y aplica en los bajos
de los muros.
Once the floor of the factory floors is
finished, some weathering is given to the walls, which in the last session we
missed.
For this, dark green is used and applied to the
bottom of the walls.
Una vez se tienen todos los muros y paredes con el efecto
moho, se ha dado un efecto de empolvado o de barro salpicado en los bajos de
las paredes externas, tanto de los edificios como de los muros.
Para ello se aplica pigmento Ocre Amarillo Oscuro (Pigmento
103 de Vallejo), de forma no insistente, pero si en todos los bajos.
Pero sin fijador, ya
que no se pretende dar un aspecto de embarrado reciente, sino de rastro de
barro antiguo y filtrado en la pared.
Once you have all the walls and walls with the
mold effect, there has been a dusty or muddy effect splashed on the underside
of the external walls, both of the buildings and of the walls.
For this, Dark Yellow Ocher Pigment (Vallejo
Pigment 103) is applied, not insistently, but at all low levels.
But without fixative, since it is not intended
to give a look of recent muddy, but of an old mud trail and filtered on the
wall.
La forma de aplicarlo es muy similar a como se ha hecho con el
Wash verde. Pero al revés
Mientras que el Wash se aplica de arriba abajo, el pigmento
es de abajo a arriba.
Al aplicar el Wash de arriba abajo, al levantar el pincel,
la gota más grande se suelta al final, por lo que la parte más densa acaba en
la base de la pared.
Al aplicar el pigmento de abajo a arriba, al levantar el pincel,
el pigmento salpica y deja una zona más difuminada al final y más densa al
principio.
The way to apply it is very similar to what has
been done with the Green Wash. But vice versa
While the Wash is applied from top to bottom,
the pigment is from bottom to top.
When applying the Wash from top to bottom, when
lifting the brush, the largest drop is released at the end, so the densest part
ends at the base of the wall.
When applying the pigment from bottom to top,
when lifting the brush, the pigment splashes and leaves a more blurred area at
the end and denser at the beginning.
Podemos dar más intensidad o menos al pigmento, aplicando
más cantidad o más pasadas.
El resultado puede llegar a ser muy convincente.
We can give more intensity or less to the
pigment, applying more or more passes.
The result can be very convincing.
Hay que tener en cuenta que para este trabajo prima la
rapidez, no la perfección. Tenemos el tiempo muy ajustado para terminar todos
los edificios.
Keep in mind that for this work speed prevails,
not perfection. We have very tight time to finish all the buildings.
Si aplicamos poco pigmento, este queda muy sutil.
If we apply little pigment, this is very subtle.
Si aplicamos más, este quedará como si hubiera habido un
cúmulo de barro en ese punto en concreto.
If we apply more, this will remain as if there
had been a cluster of mud at that particular point.
Hay que incidir en las esquinas de los edificios, ya que es
ahí donde suele depositarse más este tipo de efecto en la realidad.
It is necessary to influence the corners of the
buildings, since this is where this type of effect is most commonly deposited
in reality.
En los muros en los que el moho, el polvo de ladrillo y el
de barro se juntan, se consigue un efecto muy creíble.
In walls where mold, brick dust and mud come
together, a very credible effect is achieved.
Una de las zonas terminadas, con el terrado, a falta de los
balcones.

Con la fábrica a falta de una de las plantas y el tejado de
todos los edificios, con unas minis se puede ver mejor el tamaño de la pieza.
