En esta ocasión no se ha tenido que pintar los jabalineros
Caetrati de este primer grupo, aunque llevan más de 6 años pintados y fueron hechos
muy básicos y rápidos, no están en mal estado.
On this occasion the Caetrati javeliners of
this first group have not had to be painted, although they have been painted
for more than 6 years and they were made very basic and fast, they are not in
bad shape.
Sólo se ha tenido que hacer retoques, en especial en la
longitud de las lanzas y el repintado de las mismas, así como realizar el
terreno de dos de las plaquetas.
It has only been necessary to make adjustments,
especially in the length of the lances and the repainting of the same, as well
as to make the terrain of two of the bases.
El problema que tienen estas miniaturas es que parecen que
fueron diseñadas para emplaquetarlas en bases de tamaño mayor al de DBMM, como
por ejemplo Impetus, por lo que sobresalen las lanzas por la parte posterior,
entorpeciendo el correcto posicionado de las unidades, en cuanto hay dos o más
plaquetas en columna, ya que suelen toparse con las miniaturas de la siguiente plaqueta.
The problem with these miniatures is that they
look like they were designed to be placed on bases larger than DBMM, such as
Impetus, so the spears protrude from the back, obstructing the correct
positioning of the units, as soon as two or more platelets in column, since
they usually run into the miniatures of the next base.
Este problema se puede solucionar de dos maneras:
1.- poniendo en diagonal las miniarturas.
2.- cortando el exceso de lanza, dejándolo enrasado por atrás.
En la primera opción, ya he visto estas miniaturas colocadas
en diagonal, tanto en imágenes vistas por Internet, como haberlas tenido en mis
manos, de otro jugador.
Y no me gusta como quedan, francamente.
A mi me gusta que la mini de la cara al frontal, al enemigo
que le ataca.
Por ello he optado por la segunda opción.
This problem can be solved in two ways:
1.- putting diagonal the miniarturas.
2.- Cutting the excess spear, leaving it flush
from the back.
In the first option, I have seen these
miniatures placed diagonally, both in images seen on the Internet, and having
them in my hands, from another player.
And I do not like how they are, frankly.
I like the mini from the face to the front, the
enemy that attacks him.
That is why I opted for the second option.
Para ello se ha utilizado los alicates de corte frontal, y
las limas correspondientes. En esta ocasión, las del kit de Vallejo.
For this purpose, the frontal cutting pliers
and the corresponding limes have been used. On this occasion, those of the
Vallejo kit.
Se corta el exceso de lanza.
The excess spear is cut.
Visualmente nos tenemos que fijar mucho para darnos cuenta
que las lanzas están cortadas.
Visually we have to fix a lot to realize that
the spears are cut.
Y se pinta con color madera toda la lanza nuevamente.
Después de esta operación “tan complicada”, se crea em
terreno de las plaquetas que faltan por terminar, por lo que ya se tiene
terminadas las primeras 8 plaquetas de Psiloi jabalineros, tal como ya se ha
explicado en un
artículo anterior.
And the whole spear is painted again with wood.
After this "very complicated"
operation, it is created in the field of platelets that are still to be
finished, so that the first 8 platelets of Psiloi jabalineros have already been
completed, as already explained in a
previous article.
