Scenery 15mm Hedges

 

Para la ambientación de partidas de 15mm, en especial las de la WWII, he creado unas piezas que simulan setos bien cuidados, usando linguales de 150mm y otras piezas de contrachapado como base y Estropajo verde. También he utilizado madera de balsa y otros elementos, para dar otro aspecto a algunas piezas.

 

For the setting of 15mm games, especially those of the WWII, I have created some pieces that simulate well-kept hedges, using 150mm linguals and other pieces of plywood as a base and green scouring pad. I have also used balsa wood and other elements to give some pieces a different look.

Los tramos, a parte de los que llevan sólo  estropajo, he usado piedras de construcción de edificios y palos de brochetas.

 

The sections, apart from those that only have a scouring pad, I have used construction stones for buildings and sticks for skewers.

El conjunto de seto con muro, incluso antes de pintarlo, ofrece un aspecto interesante.

 

The hedge with wall set, even before it is painted, offers an interesting look.

Lo primero que he hecho es incorporar textura, con la mezcla que suelo utilizar para escenografía y peanas, pintándolo todo con Marrón Chocolate (Model Color 872 – 149).

 

The first thing I have done is incorporate texture, with the mixture that I usually use for scenery and bases, painting everything with Chocolate Brown (Model Color 872 – 149).

 

Antes de pintar la base con los tonos de luces para dar un tono más claro, he pintado con diferentes tonos verdes, para dar luces y contrastes al estropajo.

 

Before painting the base with the light tones to give a lighter tone, I have painted with different green tones, to give lights and contrasts to the sponge.

 

Al suelo le aplico los cuatro tonos de luces que aplico en las últimas escenografías.

 

I apply the four shades of light to the ground that I apply in the latest sets.

Una vez pintada la pieza y lista para usarla en las partidas, he optado por colocar puntos dispersos y escasos de hierba.

Para ello he optado por usar hierba electroestática, aplicada con la técnica del espolvoreado.

El resultado en caótico, tal como podemos encontrar las hierbas en la naturaleza.

 

Once the piece is painted and ready to be used in the games, I have chosen to place scattered and sparse points of grass.

For this I have chosen to use electrostatic grass, applied with the sprinkling technique.

The result is chaotic, just as we can find herbs in nature.
