15mm Generals Medieval Spanish for DBMM - 3
En el anterior artículo teníamos casi montados los mandos
iniciales para el ejército Medieval Spanish, Corona de Aragón, Feudal Catalán.
Pero al final el cliente ha pedido una serie de variaciones
y ampliaciones, que se pueden ver en este artículo y se verán reflejadas en la
4ª parte de estos mandos.
Pero el resultado empieza a ser interesante.
Personalmente pensaba que el ejército que me pedía iba a ser
con mucha bandera catalana y sobrevestas amarillas, pero al final, que se verá
más adelante, esa idea no se parece en nada a la realidad, ya que el colorido
de blancos, rojos, negros…, será idéntico al resto de ejércitos de la época de
cualquier país o facción.
Como la disposición de miniaturas, los colores de los mandos
y la cantidad de elementos que al final van a quedar (de 4 mandos, ha pasado a
9 mandos), he tenido que replantearme el como pintar las miniaturas y no se
pueden hacer como cuando se realiza tropa normal, sino que debo trabajar
elemento a elemento.
In the previous article we had almost assembled
the initial commands for the Spanish Medieval army, Corona de Aragón, Feudal
Catalonia.
But in the end the client has requested a
series of variations and extensions, which can be seen in this article and will
be reflected in the 4th part of these controls.
But the result starts to be interesting.
Personally I thought that the army that was
asking me was going to be with a lot of Catalan flag and yellow overcoats, but
in the end, that will be seen later, that idea does not resemble reality at
all, since the color of whites, reds, blacks ..., will be identical to the rest
of armies of the time of any country or faction.
As the layout of miniatures, the colors of the
controls and the amount of elements that will eventually remain (from 4
controls, has passed to 9 controls), I have had to rethink how to paint the
miniatures and can not be done as when Normal troop is done, but I must work
element by element.
También indicar que para pintar miniaturas de 15mm, aunque
más concretamente para miniaturas de escala inferior a 25mm, suelo utilizar la
combinación de tres tonos para cada color: el color base, el tono para la
sombra y el tono par la luz. Estos dos últimos colores podemos mezclarlos con
el color base, para poder obtener medios tonos.
Also indicate that to paint 15mm miniatures,
although more specifically for miniatures of less than 25mm scale, I usually
use the combination of three shades for each color: the base color, the shade
for the shadow and the tone for the light. These last two colors can be mixed
with the base color, in order to obtain halftones.
Rey Pere II - King Pere II
Este elemento (plaqueta), como todos los mandos de este
ejército, consta de 3 miniaturas.
Una es la que aparece con armadura y una corona en la
cabeza, otra es el abanderado con la bandera de las Dos Sicilias y el tercero,
también abanderado, es el siguiente.
This element (platelet), like all the commanders
of this army, consists of 3 miniatures.
One is the one that appears with armor and a
crown on the head, another is the flag bearer with the flag of the Two Sicilies
and the third, also flagged, is the following.
Después de imprimar en negro la miniatura, el caballo se ha
pintado con los colores para caballo “negro”, pero remarcando el Gris Oscuro.
El otros artículos, en especial la del pintado del ejército
Íbero, se explica como pintar este color de caballo.
After printing the thumbnail in black, the
horse has been painted with the colors for “black” horse, but highlighting the
Dark Gray.

Los colores usados para este caballo negro han sido:
- Gris Negro (Model Color 862-168), como color base.
- Negro (Model Color 950-169), para las sombras.
- Gris Oscuro (Model Color 994-166), para las luces.
The colors used for this black horse have been:
- Black Grey (Model Color 862-168), as the base
color.
- Black (Model Color 950-169), for shadows.
- Dark Grey (Model Color 994-166), for the
lights.
La crin y cola del caballo se ha pintado:
- Negro (Model Color 950-169), como color base.
- Gris Oscuro (Model Color 994-166), para las luces.
The horsehair and tail of the horse has been
painted:
- Black (Model Color 950-169), as the base
color.
- Dark Grey (Model Color 994-166), for the
lights.
Para el correaje, se ha usado la combinación que se
utilizado en los ejércitos de 15mm:
- Cuero Rojo (Model Color 818-136), como color base.
- Lavado Sombra (Game Color Wash 203), para las sombras.
- Carne Dorada (Model Color 845-020), mezclado con el Cuero
Rojo, para las luces.
For the strap, the combination used in the 15mm
armies has been used:
- Red Leather (Model Color 818-136), as the
base color.
- Shadow Wash (Game Color Wash 203), for
shadows.
- Sunny Skin Tone (Model Color 845-020), mixed
with Red Leather, for the lights.
También se aplican los metalizados de acero de los
correajes, como remaches, bocados y hebillas.
Para ello se ha usado:
- Acero Engrasado (Model Color 865-177), como color base.
- Aluminio (Model Air 062), para las luces.
The metallic steel of the straps are also
applied, such as rivets, snacks and buckles.
For this it has been used:
- Oily Steel (Model Color 865-177), as the base
color.
- Aluminum (Model Air 062), for the lights.
Como es el abanderado que lleva la bandera de la Corona de
Aragón, lleva la sobrevesta amarilla con las 4 franjas rojas.
La Sobrevesta amarilla se ha pintado con:
- Amarillo Intenso (Model Color 915-014), como color base.
- Amarillo Dorado (Model Color 948-016), para las sombras.
- Amarillo Limón (Model Color 952-011), para las luces.
As is the flag bearer that bears the Crown of
Aragon flag, it bears the yellow oversize with the 4 red stripes.
The yellow oversize has been painted with:
- Deep Yellow (Model Color 915-014), as the
base color.
- Golden Yellow (Model Color 948-016), for
shadows.
- Lemon Yellow (Model Color 952-011), for the
lights.
Para las franjas rojas se han usado:
- Rojo Mate (Model Color 957-031), como color base.
- Rojo Negro (Model Color 859-035), para las sombras.
- Naranja (Model Color 956-025), para las luces.
For the red stripes have been used:

color.

También se ha añadido en el escudo, una imprimación del
escudo real de Aragón y un bandera de Aragón, también de papel.

Gran Maese del Temple - Grand Master of the Temple
Este elemento es un opcional en este ejército.

Curiosamente, la miniatura que era destinada para el Gran
Maestre, que ya estaba terminada, resulta que lleva una corona en el casco, y
este no puede llevarlo. Por ello se ha realizado un cambio de caballos, que
también estaban terminados, quedando de la siguiente forma.
Interestingly, the miniature that was destined

Conde de Montcada
- Count of Montcada
El caballo de Guillem de Montada es de color crema, al que
se pinta la gualdrapa en blanco para poder pintar el rojo de base del escudo de
armas de Montcada, para no dé un color oscuro, sino vivo.
Para el caballo se han usado:
- Arena Clara (Model Color 837-007), como color base.
- Amarillo Desierto (Model Color 977-125), para las sombras.
- Hueso (Model Color 918-005), para las luces.
Guillem of Montada's horse is cream-colored, to
which horse blanket is painted in white to be able to paint the base red of the
Montcada coat of arms, so as not to give a dark color, but a bright color.
For the horse they have been used:
- Pale Sand (Model Color 837-007), as the base
color.
- Desert Yellow (Model Color 977-125), for the
shadows.
- Ivory (Model Color 918-005), for the lights.
También se pintan los correajes, con los colores que se ha
indicado anteriormente.

La gualdrapa se pinta en rojo, con los tres tonos indicados
más arriba, y los 8 círculos (4+4) en amarillo, también indicado anteriormente.
The horse blanket is painted in red, with the
three tones indicated above, and the 8 circles (4 + 4) in yellow, also
indicated above.
Una vez se tiene la gualdrapa pintada, se procede a pintar
al jinete.
Para ello volvemos a usar los mismos tonos rojos, excepto el
color base, que se ha usado Rojo Carmín (Model Color 908-030), para tener un
tono diferente en la sobrevesta.
Once the horse blanket is painted, the rider is
painted.

El resto de la miniatura se ha pintado como hasta ahora se
ha ido haciendo:
- Acero Engrasado (Model Color 865-177), como color base de
la cotade malla y del casco.
- Aluminio (Air Model 062), para las luces del acero.
- Bronce (Game Color 057), como color base de los dorado,
como la corona del casco y el pomo de la espada.
- Dorado Pulido (Game Color 055), para las luces doradas.
- Tierra mate (Model Color 983-143), como color base de
madera, como lanza y funda de espada.
- Tierra Oscura (Model Color 874-134), para las luces de la
madera.

it has been done so far:
- Oily Steel (Model Color 865-177), as the base
color of the chainmail and helmet.
- Aluminum (Air Model 062), for steel lights.
- Bright Bronze (Game Color 057), as the base
color of the gold, such as the crown of the helmet and the pommel of the sword.
- Polished Gold (Game Color 055), for golden
lights.
- Flat earth (Model Color 983-143), as wood
base color, as spear and sword sheath.
- Tan Earth (Model Color 874-134), for the
lights of the wood.

Terminado el pintado de Guillem de Montcada, se pasa a
pintar a su hermano Ramón de Montcada.
Finished the painting of Guillem of Montcada,

El caballo se pinta en color Marrón Claro:
- Tierra Mate (Model Color 983-143), como color base.
- Marrón Chocolate (Model Color 872-149), para las sombras.
- Tierra Oscura (Model Color 874-134), para las luces.

- Flat Earth (Model Color 983-143), as the base
color.
- Chocolate Brown (Model Color 872-149), for

El correaje se pinta igual que el resto de caballos.
La gualdrapa del caballo será idéntica a la de su hermano.
The strap is painted the same as the rest of
the horses.
The horse blanket will be identical to that of
his brother.
Para los colores usados en la figura de Ramón de Montcada,
la sobrevesta se han utilizado los mismos tonos que para su hermano, y la capa,
para ofrecer un tono diferente a los otros dos rojos, se ha cambiado el Rojo
Mate del color base, por el Bermellón (Model Color 909-028).
For the colors used in the figure of Ramón de
Montcada, the oversize has been used the same tones as for his brother, and the
layer, to offer a different tone to the other two reds, the Matt Red of the
base color has been changed, by Vermilion (Model Color 909-028).
El color piel usado para la piel de todas las miniaturas es:
- Carne dorada (Model Color 845-020), como color base.
- Lavado Carne (Game Color Wash 204), para las sombras.
- Carne dorada (Model Color 845-020), para las luces.
The skin color used for the skin of all
miniatures is:
-Sunny Skin Tone (Model Color 845-020), as the
base color.
- Meat Wash (Game Color Wash 204), for shadows.

the lights.
Al escudo también se le ha añadido una impresión en papel de
su escudo de armas.
El resto de colores, son los mismos que los utilizados con
Guillem de Montcada.
A paper print of his coat of arms has also been
added to the shield.

used with Guillem of Montcada.
La última miniatura de este elemento es el abanderado.
Se ha pintado el caballo con color canela:
- Marrón Cuero (Game Color 040), como color base.

been painted in dark grey:
- Dark Grey (Model Color 994-166), as the base
color.

Los cueros y sus metales, como ya se ha comentado
anteriormente.

Respecto al ropaje de jinete, se han usado marrón claro y
sus tonos, y para el pantalón, verdes
- Tierra (Model Color 873-142), como color base dela prenda
marrón
- Marrón Chocolate (Model Color 872-149), para las sombras
del marrón.
- Tierra Oscura (Model Color 874-134), para las luces del
marrón.
- Verde Asqueroso (Game Color 029), como color base del
pantalón.
- Verde Oscuro (Game Color 028), para las sombras del verde.
- Verde Malicioso (Game Color 025), para las luces del
verde.
Regarding the rider's clothing, light brown and
its tones have been used, and for the pants, green
- US Field Drab (Model Color 873-142), as the
base color of the brown garment
- Chocolate Brown (Model Color 872-149), for

brown lights.
- Sick Green (Game Color 029), as the base

Para los metales, igual que en el resto de miniaturas
indicadas anteriormente.
La sobrevesta que lleva el abanderado, se ha pintado con los
mismos colores que el resto de miniaturas de este elemento.
Se pinta de blanco la bandera, para que posteriormente, al
pintarlo de rojo, no oscurezca.
For metals, as in the rest of the thumbnails
indicated above.
The oversize carried by the flag bearer has
been painted with the same colors as the rest of the miniatures of this
element.
The flag is painted white, so that later, when
it is painted red, it does not darken.
Como es imposible eliminar la bandera de metal, en este caso
también se ha pintado a mano alzada.
Para ello se ha utilizado los mismos colores que para las
gualdrapas del conde Guillem de Montcada y de su hermano.
As it is impossible to remove the metal flag,
in this case it has also been painted freehand.
For this, the same colors have been used as for
the horse blanket of Count Guillem of Montcada and his brother.
Se ha añadido un escudo de Plastic Card y una impresión de
papel del emblema del condado.

El premontaje de este elemento, a falta de crear la peana,

Conde de Urgell - Count of Urgell
El último de estos cuatro primeros elementos de mando, es el
conde de Urgell, que la miniatura del propio conde ya se indicó como se ha
pitado en el anterior
artículo.
Como el conde ya está pintado, empezaré por el abanderado.
The last of these first four elements of
command, is the count of Urgell, that the miniature of the count itself was
already indicated as it has been said in the previous
article.
As the earl is already painted, I will start

El caballo se ha pintado en color Ante.
- Marrón Podrido (Game Color 037), como color base.
- Tierra Mate, (Model Color 983-143), para las sombras.

Antes de seguir pintando al jinete, se ha preferido pintar
de blanco la sobrevesta, para que el color amarillo de base que aplicaré
después, no se vea oscurecido por el color de la imprimación. Realmente este
paso puede hacerse al final.
Before continuing to paint the rider, it was
preferred to paint the oversize white, so that the yellow base color that I
will apply later, is not obscured by the color of the primer. Actually this
step can be done at the end of the rider's painting.
Al final, la miniatura se ha pintado como el resto (Metales
y madera), mientras que la sobrevesta se ha realizado un trabajo a mano.
El amarillo del color base, es el mismo que el indicado
anteriormente. Para el ajedrezado, se han pintado uno a uno los cuadrados
negros, y se han aplicado dos luces.
- Negro (Model Color 950-169), como color base de los
cuadrados negros.
- Gris Oscuro (Model Color 994-166), para la 1ª luz.
- Gris Verde (Model Color 866-165), para la 2ª luz.
Se ha añadido el escudo del condado de una impresión en
papel y la bandera personal del conde de Urgell.
In the end, the miniature has been painted like
the rest (Metals and wood), while the oversize work has been done by hand.
The yellow of the base color is the same as
indicated above. For the checkered, the black squares have been painted one by
one, and two lights have been applied.
- Black (Model Color 950-169), as the base
color of the black squares.
- Dark Grey (Model Color 994-166), for the 1st
light.
- Green Grey (Model Color 866-165), for the 2nd
light.
The county shield of a paper print and the
personal flag of the Count of Urgell have been added.
La última miniatura de este elemento es el trompeta.
Esta miniatura se pintó inicialmente con los colores del
condado de Besalú, pero como este condado estaba bajo el vasallaje del conde de
Barcelona y no del de Urgell, se ha repintado la sobrevesta y eliminado el
escudo.
Para ello se ha pintado de blanco, para eliminar los rastros
de la cruz roja que llevaba.
The last miniature of this element is the
trumpet.
This miniature was initially painted in the colors
of Besalú County, but since this county was under the vassalage of the Count of
Barcelona and not that of Urgell, the oversold has been repainted and the
shield removed.
To do this, it has been painted white, to
eliminate the traces of the red cross it carried.
La sobrevesta se ha pintado igual que al del abanderado.
The oversize has been painted the same as that
of the flag bearer.
Estas dos miniaturas, junto con la del conde, ya está todo
terminado.
