En el anterior
artículo, nos habíamos quedado en la finalización del montaje de las
piedras, creando muros para las partidas de wargames a 15mm, de la ambientación
que sea.
Realmente sólo poniendo algo de arena (o ni eso), esos muros
ya son aptos para poder usarlo en partidas de wargames de 15mm, sean de la
ambientación que sea.
In the previous
article, we had stayed in the finalization of the assembly of the stones,
creating walls for the games of wargames to 15mm, of the ambientation that is.
Really only putting some sand (or even that),
these walls are already suitable to be used in games of 15mm wargames,
regardless of the setting.
Pero para los que desean ir un poco más allá, los muros son
muy mejorables.
Lo primero es rellenar las juntas entre piedras para que
parezcan muros sólidos.

The first thing is to fill the joints between
stones so that they look like solid walls.
Relleno de juntas - Filling of joints
Ahora tenemos los muros con las piedras una al lado de la
otra. Para dar una sensación de robustez, se debe rellenar las uniones.
Para ello se usa Aguaplast, escayola u otro estuco en polvo,
al que añadiremos agua suficiente como para que quede ligeramente aguado.
Con esta pasta lechosa, cubrimos los muros, incidiendo en
especial en las uniones de las piedras.
Now we have the walls with the stones side by
side. To give a sense of robustness, the joints should be filled.
To do this, use Aguaplast, plaster or other
powder stucco, to which we will add enough water to make it slightly watery.
With this milky paste, we cover the walls, with
special emphasis on the joints of the stones.
Lo importante es cubrir con la pasta la separación entre piedras,
paro también para igualar los diferentes tamaños de las piedras.
The important thing is to cover the separation
between stones with the paste, but also to match the different sizes of the
stones.
No importa si este cubrimiento se nota las pinceladas, ya
que después se eliminará todo el exceso.
It does not matter if this covering shows the
brushstrokes, since afterwards all the excess will be eliminated.
Cuando este cubrimiento esta seco al tacto, más o menos en
una hora, se procede a retirar el exceso. Para ello se moja un trapo y se frota sacando el exceso, pero sin
afectar a las juntas.
When this covering is dry to the touch, more or
less in an hour, the excess is removed. To do this, a rag is wetted and rubbed
out to remove the excess, but without affecting the joints.
Si no se desea hacer más tratamiento a los muros, este mismo
proceso se realiza pasada una hora más, para eliminar el efecto blanquecino
resultante.
If you do not want to do more treatment to the
walls, this same process is done after another hour, to eliminate the resulting
whitish effect.
También podemos dejar aquí el trabajo de estos muros.
Pero vayamos un poco más allá.
Ahora se realizará un pintado de los muros.

Para ello los siguientes pasos a hacer son:
a) Cubrir de arena la base.
b) Aplicar un filtro para igualar tonos.
En nuestro caso se ha optado por aplicar antes el filtro.
El orden no altera el resultado.

b) Apply a filter to match tones.
In our case, we opted to apply the filter
beforehand.
The order does not alter the result.
Filtro - Filter
Para el filtro en las piedras, se ha utilizado el Lavado
Sepia de Vallejo (Ref. 73.300).
For the filter in the stones, the Sepia Wash of
Vallejo (Ref. 73.300) has been used.
Normalmente suelo usarlo rebajado al 50%, pero en esta
ocasión he optado por rebajarlo un 60% de agua.
Este filtro lo aplico con un pincel plano y de forma suave,
intentando no cubrir las juntas.
I usually use it reduced to 50%, but this time
I opted to reduce it by 60% water.
I apply this filter with a flat brush and
softly, trying not to cover the joints.
Este filtro lo he aplicado no solo a los muros, sino también
a las vallas que estoy creado simultáneamente.
This filter I have applied not only to the
walls, but also to the fences that I am created simultaneously.
Con las juntas de color blanco, no representa nada , como
son los muros de piedra. Estas juntas tendrían que estar en color cemento, por
ejemplo, o algo más oscuras, si representan que están construidas de unas
cuantas décadas.
Por ello, las juntas blancas se repasan con el lavado Gris
Oscuro (Model Wash 517).
With the joints of white color, it does not
represent anything, as are the stone walls. These joints would have to be in
cement color, for example, or something darker, if they represent that they are
constructed of a few decades.
Therefore,
the white joints are reviewed with the Dark Gray wash (Model Wash 517).
Tierra - Ground
Con el filtro ya realizado, se incorpora tierra a las bases.
Esta fase se puede realizar antes del filtro.
No alterará el resultado final.
With the filter already done, earth is
incorporated into the bases.
This phase can be done before the filter.
It will not alter the final result.
Para ello se ha utilizado la mezcla de diferentes tamaños
que en varias ocasiones he hablado de ella.
For this purpose, the mixture of different
sizes has been used, which I have talked about several times.
Se aplica cola blanca. Para la colocación de tierras y
arenas, utilizo cola blanca de secado rápido, rebajado con aproximadamente con
un 20% de agua.
Prefiero que la cola esté algo líquida, ya que si está
espesa, podemos correr el riesgo de crear “montones” de arena.
Aunque rebajemos ligeramente con agua la cola, ésta
enganchará la tierra y arenas con la misma fuerza que si no se le pone nada.
La cola se aplica con pincel, para repartirlo de una forma
igualada en toda la peana.
White glue is applied. For the placement of
earth and sand, I use white quick drying glue, reduced with approximately 20%
water.
I prefer that the tail is somewhat liquid,
because if it is thick, we can run the risk of creating "piles" of
sand.
Although we slightly taper the tail with water,
it will hook the earth and sands with the same force as if nothing were put on
it.
The tail is applied with a brush, to distribute
it in an even way throughout the base.
Con la base empapada de cola, se procede a esparcir la
tierra por ella.
With the base soaked in glue, we proceed to
spread the earth through it.
Al utilizar esta mezcla con diferentes espesores de tierras,
conseguimos de una única pasada incorporar arena, piedras intermedias y piedras
más gruesas.
By using this mixture with different soil
thicknesses, we get a single pass to incorporate sand, intermediate stones and
thicker stones.
Ahora es un buen momento para hacer marcas de rodadas de
carros u otros vehículos.
En el caso de hacer la rodada de una rueda de carro, de
madera, sólo con hacer pasar el mango de un pincel, ya tenemos el efecto
realizado.
Now is a good time to make roll marks for cars
or other vehicles.
In the case of making the rolling of a car
wheel, made of wood, just by passing the handle of a brush, we already have the
effect made.
Pero también no hemos dejado ninguna marca en otras entradas
de los muros.
Con el filtro y la tierra en las bases, el conjunto se ve,
de momento, así.

Sólo con estos muros, ya tenemos una extensión aproximada de
90 x 90cm.

Al utilizar los linguales como base, las uniones entre
tramos de muros son visualmente más agradecidas, que otras con base no
redondeada.
When using linguals as a base, the joints
between sections of walls are visually more grateful, than others with a
non-rounded base.
En las siguientes fases, pintaremos los muros y añadiremos
algo de vegetación.
In the following phases, we will paint the
