Pincel y Masilla Studio: [28mm] Scifiman. Miniatura Old School

Hace mucho, algo más de 25 años, que tengo una miniatura, que en su día fue una de las mejores esculpidas, por encima de marcas tan prestigiosas como GW o Arlequín, que se podían encontrar de ambientación actual o Ci-Fi, exclusivamente para partidas de Rol (en especial para Ciberpunk y Traveller).

Esta miniatura ha pasado por mesa de trabajo en varias ocasiones y, por motivos extraños y siempre rocambolescos, nunca la terminé de pintar.

Sobre esta miniatura se empezó a pintar, se repintó encima, se despintó, se volvió a empezar a pintar, se decapó y, por último, se imprimó y pintó el pantalón.

En esta tesitura es cuando he cogido esta miniatura.

En el momento de pintar la carne de la banda Old School de los Orlocks de Necromunda, es cuando se pintó también la piel de esta miniatura.

Long ago, just over 25 years, I have a miniature, which in its day was one of the best sculpted, above brands as prestigious as GW or Harlequin, which could be found in current setting or Ci-Fi, exclusively for Role games (especially for Cyberpunk and Traveler).

This miniature has gone through the work table several times and, for strange reasons and always bizarre, I never finished painting.
About this miniature began to be painted, repainted on top, it was discarded, it began to paint again, it was decapitated and, finally, it was printed and painted the trousers.

In this position is when I have taken this miniature.
At the time of painting the flesh of the Old School band of the Necromunda Orlocks, is when the skin of this miniature was also painted.

Para la camiseta he usado:

- Gris Lobo (Game Color 047), para el color base

- Gris Marina (Model Color 991-159), para las sombras.

- Lavado Sombra (Game Color Wash 203), para los perfilados.

- Gris Plateado (Model Color 883-152), para las luces.

For the shirt I used:
- Gray Wolf (Game Color 047), for the base color
- Navy Gray (Model Color 991-159), for shadows.
- Wash Shade (Game Color Wash 203), for the profiling.
- Silver Gray (Model Color 883-152), for lights.

Y para el pantalón, que se repinta encima el azul inicial, se utiliza:

- Azul medio (Model Color 963-057), para el color base.

- Lavado Azul (Game Color Wash 207), para las sombras y perfilados.

- Azul Mágico (Game Color 021), para las 1ª luces.

- Azul Eléctrico (Game Color 023), para las 2ª luces.

And for the trousers, which are repainted over the initial blue, it is used:
- Medium blue (Model Color 963-057), for the base color.
- Blue Wash (Game Color Wash 207), for shadows and profiles.
- Magic Blue (Game Color 021), for the 1st lights.
- Electric Blue (Game Color 023), for the 2nd lights.

Las botas utilizo el mismo sistema que el utilizado en las miniaturas pintadas de Necromunda.

- Negro (Model Color 950-169), para el color base.

- Caucho Oscuro (PanzerAces 306), para el color base de las suelas de goma.

- Gris Verde (Model Color 866-165), para las 1ª luces.

- Gris Plateado (Model Color 883-152), para las 2ª luces.

- Acero Engrasado (Model Color 865-177), para las partes metálicas.

The boots I use the same system that the one used in the Necromunda painted miniatures.
- Black (Model Color 950-169), for the base color.
- Dark Rubber (PanzerAces 306), for the base color of rubber soles.
- Green Gray (Model Color 866-165), for the 1st lights.
- Silver Gray (Model Color 883-152), for the 2nd lights.
- Oiled Steel (Model Color 865-177), for metal parts.

Para la Chaqueta he optado por pintarla de forma que parezca un tejido de lanilla, característico de americanas de baja calidad, pero resistentes.

Para ello he utilizado:

- Tierra mate (Model Color 983-143), para el color base.

- Caucho Oscuro (PanzerAces 306), para el color base de la codera.

- Carne Dorada (Model Color 845-020) para las luces, mediante mezclas progresivas con el Tierra Mate.

- Caucho Claro (PanzerAces 305), para las luces del color caucho.

- Acero Engrasado (Model Color 865-177), para la hombrera.

- Aluminio (Model Air 062), para puntos de luz de la hombrera.

- Humo (Model Color 921-181), para las sombras, tanto en la chaqueta como en la codera y la hombrera, diluyéndolo ligeramente, y perfilados, sin diluir.

For the Jacket I have chosen to paint it in a way that looks like a fabric of wool, characteristic of low-quality, but resistant, Americans.
For this I have used:
- Matte Earth (Model Color 983-143), for the base color.
- Dark Rubber (PanzerAces 306), for the base color of the elbow.
- Golden Meat (Model Color 845-020) for the lights, through progressive blends with the Mate Earth.
- Clear Rubber (PanzerAces 305), for rubber colored lights.
- Greased Steel (Model Color 865-177), for the shoulder pad.
- Aluminum (Model Air 062), for light points of the shoulder pad.
- Smoke (Model Color 921-181), for the shadows, both in the jacket and in the paddle and the shoulder pad, diluting it slightly, and profiled, undiluted.

Con la miniatura prácticamente terminada, ahora solo le faltan los detalles generales, lo que le dará la personalidad de la miniatura.

Empezando por el pelo:

- Marrón Chocolate (Model Color 872-149), para el color base del pelo.

- Carne Dorada (Model Color 845-020) para las luces, mediante mezclas progresivas con el Marrón Chocolate.

- Blanco (Model Color 951-001), para las canas de las sienes.

With the miniature practically finished, now only lacks the general details, which will give the personality of the miniature.

Starting with the hair:
- Chocolate Brown (Model Color 872-149), for the base color of the hair.
- Golden Meat (Model Color 845-020) for lights, through progressive blends with Chocolate Brown.
- White (Model Color 951-001), for gray hair at the temples.

Para las “telas” que lleva adicionales la miniatura, las he pintado de diferentes colores.

Para el fular del cuello, me costó mucho escoger el color, ya que tenía intención de pintarlo como un Palestino, en blanco, y rojos o marrones, pero que al darle el tono de blanco para la capa base, me tiró para atrás, ya que hacía que la vistosidad de esta miniatura bajará en picado.

Después de decidir entre hacer el fular Amarillo o verde, me decante por el verde, aunque los dos colores quedan perfectos en esta minatura.

Para este fular he usado:

- Blanco Frio (antes Blanco Imprimación, Model Color 919-002), como imprimación del fular.

- Verde Malicioso (Game Color 025), para el color base del fular.

- Verde Bilis (Game Color 033), para las 1ª luces del fular.

- Carne Dorada (Model Color 845-020) para las 2ª luces, mediante mezclas progresivas con el Verde Bilis.

For the "fabrics" that the miniature carries, I have painted them in different colors.

For the neck scarf, I had a hard time choosing the color, since I had the intention of painting it as a Palestinian, in white, and red or brown, but when I gave it the white color for the base layer, it pulled me back, already that made the showiness of this miniature will plummet.

After deciding between making the yellow or green scarf, I prefer the green, although the two colors are perfect in this minatura.

For this scarf I used:
- Cold White (before White Primer, Model Color 919-002), as primer of the scarf.
- Malicious Green (Game Color 025), for the base color of the scarf.
- Green Bile (Game Color 033), for the 1st lights of the scarf.
- Carne Dorada (Model Color 845-020) for the 2nd lights, through progressive blends with the Green Bile.

Para la banda amarilla de la pierna y la goma del pelo, he usado:

- Blanco Frio (antes Blanco Imprimación, Model Color 919-002), como imprimación.

- Amarillo Intenso (Model Color 915-014), para el color base.

- Amarillo Dorado (Model Color 948-016), para las sombras.

- Amarillo Limón (Model Color 952-011), para las luces.

For the yellow band of the leg and the rubber band of the hair, I used:
- Cold White (before White Primer, Model Color 919-002), as a primer.
- Intense Yellow (Model Color 915-014), for the base color.
- Golden Yellow (Model Color 948-016), for shadows.
- Lemon Yellow (Model Color 952-011), for the lights.

Y por último, la tela que la miniatura usa de cinturón.

- Blanco Frio (antes Blanco Imprimación, Model Color 919-002), como imprimación.

- Rojo Mate (Model Color 957-031), para el color base.

- Naranja (Model Color 956-025), para las luces.

- Lavado Rojo (Game Color Wash 206), pata las sombras.

And finally, the fabric that the model uses as a belt.
- Cold White (before White Primer, Model Color 919-002), as a primer.
- Matte Red (Model Color 957-031), for the base color.
- Orange (Model Color 956-025), for lights.
- Red Wash (Game Color Wash 206), paw the shadows.

Respecto a las armas, he usado:

- Madera Vieja (PanzerAces 310), para el color base del mango del puñal en la bota.

- Carne Dorada (Model Color 845-020), para las luces, mediante mezclas progresivas con Madera Vieja.

- Lavado Sombra (Game Color Wash 203), para los perfilados.

- Negro (Model Color 950-169)para color base de la pistola al cinto y el subfusil.

- Acero Engrasado (Model Color 865-177), para color base de la pistola en mano y pincel seco resto armas.

- Aluminio (Model Air 062), para puntos de luz de las armas, en especial de la pistola en mano.

Regarding weapons, I used:
- Old Wood (PanzerAces 310), for the base color of the dagger handle on the boot.
- Golden Meat (Model Color 845-020), for the lights, by means of progressive mixtures with Old Wood.
- Wash Shade (Game Color Wash 203), for the profiling.
- Black (Model Color 950-169) for base color of the pistol to the belt and the submachine gun.
- Oiled Steel (Model Color 865-177), for base color of the gun in hand and dry brush rest weapons.
- Aluminum (Model Air 062), for light points of weapons, especially the gun in hand.

La peana, en su día se realizó con una masilla de dos componentes, de dudosa procedencia.

Por ello en cuanto empezamos a trabajarla un poco o a tocarla, se empezó a romper. Esto me permitió crear el efecto de asfalto roto, mediante un pinzón de modelaje, ya que es muy blando.

The base, in its day was made with a putty of two components, of dubious origin.
For that reason as soon as we began to work it a little or to touch it, it began to break. This allowed me to create the effect of broken asphalt, using a modeling finch, since it is very soft.

Para el pintado de la peana, lohe realizado por 3 fases diferentes, pero realizadas de forma simultánea.

Las técnicas utilizadas han sido explicadas en la peana de Ingvar Nilsson, y la base del mini diorama de la Harley Davidson

For the painting of the base, I made it by 3 different phases, but made simultaneously.

Las pinturas utilizadas son:

Asfalto

- Gris Negro (Model Color 862-168), para el color base.

- Gris Basalto (Model Color 869-162), para las 1ª luces, con pincel semi seco.

- Gris Cielo (Model Color 989-154), para las 2ª luces, con pincel seco.

Acera

- Gris Basalto (Model Color 869-162), para el color Base.

- Gris Cielo (Model Color 989-154), para las luces, con pincel seco.

- Blanco (Model Color 951-001), para 2ª luz, con pincel seco, sólo para el bordillo.

- Gris Negro (Model Color 862-168), para el punteado del bordillo, con la técnica de la espuma.

- Lavado Gris Oscuro (ModelWash 517) para las sombras.

Suciedad general

- WashFor DAK (AK 066), para todas endiduras, tanto del asfalto como de la acera.

- Verde Oliva (ModelWash 519), para imitar mugre.

- Verde Oscuro (ModelWash 512), para el moho.

Además, se ha utilizado el negro, para pintar todo el reborde de la peana.

The paintings used are:

- Cielo Cielo (Model Color 989-154), for the 2nd lights, with dry brush.

Sidewalk
- Basalt Gray (Model Color 869-162), for Base color.
- Sky Gray (Model Color 989-154), for lights, with dry brush.
- White (Model Color 951-001), for 2nd light, with dry brush, only for the curb.
- Black Gray (Model Color 862-168), for stippling the curb, using the foam technique.
- Dark Gray Wash (ModelWash 517) for shadows.

General dirt
- WashFor DAK (AK 066), for all surfaces, both asphalt and sidewalk.
- Olive Green (ModelWash 519), to imitate dirt.
- Dark Green (ModelWash 512), for mold.

In addition, black has been used to paint the entire edge of the base.

Y como punto final. la miniatura está barnizado la miniatura con barniz antibrillo de Army Painter.

And as a final point. the model is varnished with the miniature anti-glare of Army Painter.

En todo el artículo ha dicho que es una miniatura de 28mm, cuando realmente es de 25mm, “de pie a ojos” (o 28mm “de pie a testa”). Algo más pequeña que el resto de miniaturas que han surgido posteriormente de otros fabricantes.

Aquí podemos ver la diferencia de esta miniatura con el resto de minis de ambientación Ci-Fi que últimamente he pintado.
